Two huge projects moving quickly
The first phase of OKANA is being built adjacent to the First Americans Museum along the OK River. The $300 million project will include a hotel, spa, large swimming lagoon, indoor waterpark, scores of restaurants, and a Native American marketplace. The second phase will likely include a large aquarium to be operated by the OKC Zoo.
OAK is located at NW Express and Penn across from Penn Square Mall. The luxury apartments, large parking structure and 133-room hotel are all rapidly taking shape. Also part of Phase I is Capital Grille, a 3-story Restoration Hardware with a rooftop restaurant and a 2-story Arhaus. Several new-to-market restaurants and retail stores will be included and future phases will feature office space and perhaps a theater.
Both are quickly taking shape and hope to open in 2024.
